Explain the Gospel

One of the New Testament authors is Luke. He wrote one of the four Gospels. As a sequel, if you will, he also put together a history of the beginning of the Church. It is a book entitled Acts. In chapter 8 we read:

³⁰ Philip ran to him, and heard him reading Isaiah the prophet, and said, “Do you understand what you are reading?” ³¹ He said, “How can I, unless someone explains it to me?” (WEB World English Version).
